With a title like "Post Retro", it might not be a surprise that this album sounds like the future and the past both at times, mostly simultaneously. It's straight-up feelgood have-some-fun pop dance music setting the mood, influenced by all eras of dance greatness. Mad decent stuff, with something for everyone, including cover versions of songs by Puretone and Fatboy Slim, as if to make it easy on us to come up with references, although house music is indeed the constant here. It'll surely brighten up the dimmest autumn day without reverting to any of those overused generic 'beach bar' tricks, and make even the most critical mind bend a little at least.

4T4 makes it abundantly clear once again that he 's a DJ who knows very well what moves people with his apparent deep, deep love for dance music. You'll be looking forward to doing the dishes with this one, let alone what it'll do to you saturday night.
