Belgian Mr. Jeffrey Jefferson is not only the accomplished singer we know from his work with his very succesful band Ertebrekers, bringing soul music in dutch. He's also a very talented songwriter. He has a huge love for house muzik, and that's exactly where his inspiration seems to be pushing him lately. This track compromises somewhere between classic club house and early techno and is very true to the origins. This take is not the what distinguishes this track most, though, it's that it's done so soulfully, decent and convinced. It's very effective, partly due to the help and know-how of veteran and label boss 4T4 no doubt.
